Privacy Policy
Orvel is a personal assistant powered by artificial intelligence. This policy explains, in plain words, what information we collect, why, where it is kept, who it is shared with and what your rights are. It complies with the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Québec's Law 25).

1. Person in charge of the protection of personal information
Alexandre Blais, founder of Zenitech, is the person in charge of the protection of personal information. For any question, or any request for access, correction or deletion, or to file a complaint: [email protected]. We reply within 30 days.
2. What we collect and why

We never sell your information, we do not run targeted advertising and we do not use your conversations to train AI models.
3. Where your information is kept
Your account, profile, memories and conversations are kept in Québec, on a server operated by Zenitech. Orvel's written replies are produced by our own AI models on that same server: your conversations are not sent to another company to be answered.
The photos and videos you create, and the documents generated, are kept on your device (in your browser), not on our servers.
4. Providers that may receive some information
Some features go through providers, only when you use them and only for what is necessary. Several are located outside Québec (mostly in the United States); before these communications, we assessed that they offer adequate protection (contractual commitments to confidentiality and security).

5. How long we keep it
As long as your account exists. If you delete your account, everything is erased immediately from our database, then from backups within 8 days. An account with no active plan that has been inactive for 2 years may be deleted after notice by email.
6. Security
Encrypted connections (HTTPS), passwords kept as a fingerprint (PBKDF2), server access limited to Zenitech, each account can read only its own data, regular backups. In the event of a confidentiality incident presenting a risk of serious injury, we will notify you, as well as the Commission d'accès à l'information, as the law requires.
7. Your rights
- View and correct your profile at any time: "My profile" button in Orvel.
- Get your data in a readable format (portability): "My profile" → "Download my data".
- Delete your account and all your data: "My profile" → "Delete my account".
- Withdraw your consent at any time (by deleting your account).
- File a complaint with us, then with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
8. Minimum age
Orvel is intended for people 14 and older. We do not knowingly collect information about children under 14 without a parent's consent.
9. Changes
If this policy changes significantly, we will tell you in Orvel or by email before the changes apply.
