The rule
Under the Consumer Protection Act (Loi sur la protection du consommateur), a contract concluded at the consumer's home at their express request is not an itinerant merchant contract, provided the consumer was not solicited elsewhere than at the merchant's address (art. 57). If your team does door-to-door sales, the itinerant merchant rules apply: written contract (art. 58) and a 10-day right of cancellation (art. 59).
