The rule
The sale of goods is generally subject to GST (TPS) and QST (TVQ); the treatment of deliveries, shipments and gift cards is to be validated with Revenu Québec or your accountant. For gift cards, check with Quebec's consumer protection office (Office de la protection du consommateur, OPC) the rules on expiry dates and fees before setting them. The CRM keeps the amounts and the card sold or used; it does not calculate your taxes.
