Accommodation tax, GST and QST
Quebec trade rule for hotels, inns and campgrounds.
The rule
An accommodation tax applies to overnight stays at covered establishments, in participating regions, and Revenu Québec describes how it is collected, including when a platform collects it. GST (TPS) and QST (TVQ) also apply. Alma does not calculate any tax on its own initiative: it uses the rates you have set. Have the details validated by Revenu Québec or your accountant.
